The story....
The Mercuriis are a creation of a mad man's mind. The voices are from the past, far back in his mind. The instruments are from the 80's. An E-mu SP-12 plays the drums. The bass is played by Akai S-1000. An old PPG Wave is playing some keyboards and effects. All made on a Linn Sequencer. The image on the CD single is a picture of a physical vinyl single released by Polydor Records in 1982 and made by the creator. But the text, of course, refers to The Mercuriis.
The creator...
The creator once stood on a frozen lake in the middle of Reykjavik where he met a girl. On the way home she kissed him. They were standing in the front of the porch of her house. That’s when he realized the power of love. But something went wrong in his mind – he was not able to hate after that kiss. He never became normal again. Honour, pride, authorities, rules – were just few of the words that jumped out of his mind and into one of the black holes of our universe. Very strange… All that was left, were things of no use, like joy, love, care, beauty . Very silly… actually.
